Fawk the stupid cops!

Shoot, I lost my phone! my iPhone!
I realized last night, then I thought I left it in the office coz I remember putting it into my bag in the morning. I called my # it was powered off. But I didn't remember touching it afterwards. Then when I saw my empty desk this morning, I knew "shoot, I lost my iPhone!" But I still thought there might b a mere chance that it's still in my home, coz I didn't look it up last night. Then I called my # again n it was switched on...

I then went to the Police, hoping that there might be sth like a GPRS system that they can track the signal, only to prove that I was too naive. The cop was like "girl, u watched too many films".

Wow, so what? I'm a drama queen?

"We only have a few machines in Shanghai that can do that. So there's not much capacity, what about we record you case first?"

I went like "but what are you going to do after you recorded?"

"We'll report, then we'll see"

O,,, report... in China... "By the time you reported, the phone will be switched off, then I could never got my phone back!"

"Well, what can we do? If we track every lost as soon as they reported, we'll be busy as hell."

"But that's your job to catch the thieves! If you track the phone once they reported stolen, then there won't be that many thieves!"

"This is a high-tech machine. If we use it that frequently, the thieves will hack it, then we'll need new technology."

"Isn't it the way for development?!" OK, let's face it. I'm too naive and lived in a movie-made bubble or my own fantasy. So now it's time for me to grew up and lose faith again, this time in the cops anyway. What a mad world...

The 1st question in ur mind when u wake up

The 1st question in my mind when I open my eyes everyday is recently "what time is it" so then I can calculate how long I can still lying there.

My mom once told me the 1st question I ask her everyday when I was little was "what should I wear today". This much expressed a woman's in-born desire for beauty and explained why I'm usually late for an appointment.

While being a student,  near the term end my question was "when is the deadline", while usually my 1st question was "what I should do today". One of the few good things of hving a job but not a student is that I dun need to think abt what I should do.

But I rather hv a blank mind during weekends, esp after a crazy night out. My weird biological clock always wakes me up at ard 7, and my 1st question always keeps me awake.

From what to wear, to what to do, to how long I can sleep, to hopefully not thinking anything, am I knowing the life better or am I getting more n more boring?
